ReMe - The Sandhills - October 2019
"One of the Premier All Inclusive Art Retreats in North Carolina"
From The Mountains to The Sea, we love our home state of North Carolina in all of its splendor, and we particularly love The Sandhills Region that we’re proud to call home.
The people, the scenery, the central location, and our sweet little studio are all near and dear to our hearts, and we're looking forward to sharing all of this and more with you during our Fourth Annual ReMe Retreat in The Sandhills from October 21st through October 26th.
About ReMe and ReMe-The Sandhills
ReMe Retreats mission is to insure our guests are immersed in a creative, inclusive, intimate atmosphere. So many of our guests have come as strangers and left as true sisters! What started out as an art retreat has grown into so much more. Our name pretty much says it all. ReMe stands for: a Remarkable, Extraordinary, Memorable, Experience; and our motto is to serve our guests well so that they may "Rest, Relax, and Renew".
Owners and Instructors Jodi Ohl and Jean Skipper offer diverse class offerings as well as share in the hosting of all events along with our multi-talented event & hospitality manager, Debbie Keen. Students can expect classes in both painting and mixed media featuring artist and author Jodi Ohl, along with jewelry and or assemblage design focusing on found objects, cold connections, hand stamping, etching (just to name a few) with designer and gallery owner, Jean Skipper. While diverse in offerings, all of us at ReMe create classes that are suitable for the beginner and more seasoned artist.
A Little Preview
With many workshops to choose from, you'll see as you read on-ReMe Retreats offers a semi-all inclusive experience where you could almost just show up and enjoy everything. No packing of 1000 art supplies, we handle your lodging, workshop, most supplies, meals and activities! In addition to the many surprises and activities slated, each guest will also be treated to an original piece of art or jewelry from each host!
This year we are also offering a reduced rate if you would like to coordinate your own lodging. As much as we would love your to stay in the "ReMe House", we recognize that some guests prefer more privacy than a communal home. Whichever your choice, you will still be able to participate in all the activities, classes, and most meals.
